Dr. Jimmy Tai Huynh - Osteopath
B.Sc (ClinSci), M.HSc (Osteo)
Jimmy completed his Bachelor of Applied Science and Bachelor of Health Science (Osteopathy) at RMIT University. Prior to this, he studied Biomedical Science, majoring in Medical Biochemistry and Gene Technologies. He spent several years working in a laboratory environment. While he valued the strong scientific foundation this provided, he soon realised his passion lay in working directly with people.
His interest in osteopathy developed after experiencing his own ankle and knee sports injury, where he saw firsthand the benefits of a holistic approach to treatment. Jimmy was drawn to osteopathy’s philosophy of viewing the body as an interconnected system and addressing the underlying causes of pain, rather than just the symptoms.
Jimmy enjoys treating a wide range of patients, from children through to older adults, including those with sports injuries, pregnancy-related concerns, and everyday musculoskeletal conditions. He takes a patient-centred approach, combining hands-on treatment with education to help patients move well and stay active.
Outside the clinic, Jimmy enjoys playing competitive mixed netball, as well as coaching and umpiring within the netball community between Melbourne and Geelong. In his spare time, he also enjoys floristry and content creation.
Jimmy is in South Geelong on Monday and Fridays.
