Yoga Class!

Our Yoga Instructor is Natalie Gugger! 

She teaches on Monday night 5 & 6pm. Natalie is a passionate yoga teacher who completed her Yoga Alliance accredited RYT Yoga Teacher Training in 2015.

Her practice began after spending many years on stage dancing and performing. With developed injuries, yoga became an important part of her life that not only balanced and calmed the mind but also strengthened and healed her physical body.

Natalie has been practicing yoga since her early 20’s, beginning her studies in Geelong as well as practicing throughout Spain and Portugal. She practices Hatha, VInyasa and Ashtanga yoga styles. 

At Kardinia Pilates and Yoga Lara, Natalie takes students through a practice focused on Hatha – the  foundation of yoga that encompasses the practice of asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises). Each posture is completed by connecting to the breath, bringing peace to both mind and body and grounding students throughout their practice.

Unique to Kardinia Pilates and Yoga Lara, the yoga space inhabits an intimate setting to cater for all individual needs and support. In the initial classes of the term, Beginner Hatha sequences are developed to build an understanding of alignment as well as strong foundations in each posture. As the weeks progress, classes maintain their Hatha origin but slowly progress with intensity to continue to build on strength and flexibility.

Offering modifications in postures, classes are suitable for all skill levels and abilities.
