Treatment during pregnancy can be useful in allowing the body to adapt with the rapid changes of a woman's body during the growth of the baby. Our Osteopaths will treat using soft tissue massage, joint movement and mobilisation, dry needling and manipulations where necessary, as well as specific gentler pregnancy related techniques, all in the comfort of lying on our Belly Pillows.

As well as this, our Osteopaths are trained in providing pre and post pregnancy exercises, including pelvic floor exercises, to complement the treatment.

The pregnancy related symptoms we may be able to assist with are:

  • pelvic instability

  • pubic pain

  • lower back pain

  • upper thoracic and cervical pain, including cervicogenic headaches

  • carpal tunnel syndrome

  • swelling in the lower limbs and feet

  • reflux and indigestion

  • pelvic floor weakness or overactivity

  • incontinence
